Work as a Child Interventionist/Behavior Technician in Irmo, SC, providing direct ABA therapy and intervention for children with autism in a supportive, family-oriented environment.
About the Role
Deliver individualized behavioral interventions under BCBA supervision, tracking client progress and ensuring continuity of care. This is a permanent part-time position, Monday through Friday afternoons.
Key Duties
- Follow ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies
- Monitor, document, and report client behaviors and progress
- Manage challenging behaviors using behavioral principles
- Support clients in academic/life skills
- Communicate effectively with treatment team and families
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to policy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Must have personal laptop/tablet for data entry
- Experience with children preferred
- Interest in continuous learning
- Must clear background check
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in home/community settings
