As a Patient Services Ambassador (Dietary Aide) at Southcoast Health, you'll play a key role in patient satisfaction by assisting in meal delivery, ensuring dietary restrictions are met, and supporting the hospital's nutritional services.

Work Environment

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality nutrition services for patients.
• Data entry of meal preferences, use of hospital software platforms, and direct patient interaction to accommodate dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver meals while conforming to patient-specific dietary requirements.
• Adjust meal selections collaboratively with patients, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Perform data entry for food preferences and daily menu updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized service area and adhere to all safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to describe menu items and interact positively with both patients and staff.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccination required or formally exempted.
