Key Responsibilities
- Perform radiography and computed tomography (CT) exams based on physician requests
- Correlate clinical findings with exam requests and ensure precise documentation in EHR
- Position patients, select imaging equipment, and ensure adherence to ALARA principles
- Administer contrast or pharmaceuticals as required
- Evaluate image quality and assist physicians during procedures
- Prioritize patient safety and follow all infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT registration required; post-primary certification in CT required
- Current Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island licensure as applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Compliance with hospital immunization policies
