Join a laboratory team as a Laboratory Support Service Technician (LSST), responsible for a range of core lab tasks from specimen collection through processing and point-of-care testing. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, verify, process, ship, and store blood and biofluid specimens.
- Prepare specimens and containers for lab testing as ordered.
- Troubleshoot procedural and workflow issues and prioritize workload.
- Accurately read labels, complete documentation, and follow SOPs.
- Participate in quality control and help train new team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One year of venous access and specimen experience or national phlebotomy certification strongly preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability for lifting, standing, and color distinction.
