Join a collaborative, patient-focused healthcare team as a Care Team Specialist (Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT) in Madison, Wisconsin. This role actively supports quality outpatient care delivery through clinical and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform technical, clinical, and administrative duties to facilitate smooth clinic workflow
- Conduct patient pre-visit preparation, vital signs collection, and support in examinations
- Document in electronic medical records, manage test results, and return patient communications
- Assist with Epic in-basket workflow and support patient education
- Collaborate with registered nurses and providers to coordinate care
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant, LPN, or EMT training from accredited program
- Certification within six months (if MA) or relevant licensure (LPN/EMT)
- Valid CPR/AED certification or eligibility to obtain
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and electronic medical records (preferably Epic)
- The ability to travel among local GHC-SCW sites as needed
