Mental Health Coaches support clients in achieving healthier lives by leveraging strengths and skills to foster positive change. Coaches work via text-based chat and video, providing psychological support, goal-setting, and tracking progress in collaboration with a multidisciplinary care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of coaching clients
- Support clients in setting and attaining personal goals
- Document and track client progress in care plans
- Utilize skills in empathetic listening and motivational interviewing
- Collaborate with clinical teams and escalate cases as needed
- Maintain compliance with privacy standards and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of coaching experience, including supervised practice
- Board Certification as NBC-HWC or ICF credential (ACC/PCC/MCC)
- Experience in mental health and coaching techniques (e.g., Motivational Interviewing)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Private workspace suitable for confidential video sessions
- For bilingual roles: proficiency in English and Spanish or French
