Support the delivery of quality occupational therapy services in a skilled nursing community setting, ensuring patient care meets the highest standards. As an Occupational Therapist, you'll collaborate with medical and rehabilitation staff, develop treatment plans, and foster patient progress and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide and document comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and treatment plans
- Support and mentor Occupational/Physical Therapist Assistants, offering guidance and training
- Administer hands-on therapies to enhance patient function and promote daily living skills
- Educate patients and families on therapy procedures for continued home care
- Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Fit and adjust orthotic and prosthetic devices as needed
Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy institution
- Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in Washington State
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
