About the job
As a Patient Services Representative, you will be the initial contact for new and existing patients, handling appointment scheduling and information exchange. You’ll collaborate with clinical staff, maintain strict confidentiality, and provide exceptional service on the phone and through data entry systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Interview new patients to gather demographic and insurance information.
- Ensure urgent needs are prioritized and resolved.
- Handle patient inquiries and facilitate financial screening services.
- Maintain a positive, flexible attitude and uphold confidentiality and core values.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or call-center setting.
- Ability to type at least 45 wpm.
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
