About the job
Assist in delivering patient-focused physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. This role supports patients in achieving optimal mobility and function, contributing to the multidisciplinary care strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out prescribed physical therapy exercises and modalities
- Support patients in regaining strength, mobility, and independence
- Record and report patient responses and progress
- Educate patients on the use of therapeutic equipment and devices
- Participate in team meetings and continuing education sessions
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Must pass the national PTA examination and hold current state licensure (as applicable)
- Current CPR certification required
- Ability to travel as needed; must have driver’s license and insurance
