About the job

This Primary Care Physician position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality total care to a diverse patient population within a community health center environment. You will lead patient diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and minor surgeries while contributing to the development of medical policies and staff education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments, health history reviews, and physical examinations.
  • Provide diagnosis, prescribe treatments and medications.
  • Perform immunizations and minor surgeries as needed.
  • Contribute to policy development and care coordination.
  • Participate in committee work, quality improvement processes, and patient/care team communications.
Qualifications
  • Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a residency (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN or Pediatrics).
  • Active, unrestricted Medical License and Board Certification/Eligibility in relevant specialty.
  • Experience with evidence-based practice and care coordination.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
