About the job
Provide essential speech and language therapy to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder within a clinical practice focused on inclusion, patient-centered outcomes, and collaboration. Work as part of the Autism Spectrum Program, leveraging expertise to design communication and intervention plans for a diverse clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and design communication programs and therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Integrate parent training and recommend specialized equipment as needed
- Provide documentation in electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals (OTs, psychologists, BCBAs)
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to a supportive team environment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed or eligible in Wisconsin; ASHA Certification required
- Experience working with autism, feeding, assistive technology, and various age groups preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and ethical standards
