Community Manager

About the job

As a Community Manager, you will oversee all aspects of a multi-family property in Farmingville, New York. You will be responsible for leading your property team, achieving financial objectives, and ensuring the highest standards of service and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial performance, develop budgets, and set rents
• Manage lease enforcement, renewals, and applications
• Supervise vendor approvals, expenditures, and petty cash
• Guide marketing and leasing strategies based on market trends
• Promote and ensure resident satisfaction and retention
• Conduct regular property checks for safety and appearance
• Lead recruitment, training, and management of property staff
• Liaise with owners and provide regular performance updates

Physical Demands

• Stand, walk, sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds (50 with assistance)
• Indoor and outdoor work year-round
• May require travel and flexible scheduling including taking on-call responsibilities
