About the job
As an Environmental Technician, you will support vital civil, environmental remediation, and compliance projects for a well-established consulting firm. You will conduct field monitoring and sampling, assist in system maintenance, and ensure project quality standards across various sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect water, soil, and gas samples for analysis
- Prepare and submit Chain-of-Custody documentation
- Coordinate sample deliveries to laboratories
- Maintain groundwater and leachate sampling systems
- Assist with maintenance of remediation systems
- Travel locally and remotely for field work
Qualifications
- Experience in environmental sampling required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Eligibility to work in the US and valid driver's license
- Pre-employment physical and drug screen required
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies or related field, OSHA HAZWOPER certification
