This role is responsible for managing the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) Department in Lemont, Illinois, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The position drives operational excellence by leading compliance initiatives, supporting operational teams, and liaising with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all EHS&S regulatory compliance and culture
• Manage monitoring, sampling, recordkeeping, and reporting
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures
• Conduct incident management and root cause analyses
• Deliver regulatory training and review safety protocols
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies
• Manage use of electronic EHS&S systems for documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Expertise in air, water, and waste regulation
• Familiarity with US Coast Guard and DOT security regulations
• Valid driver’s license and required certifications (e.g., HAZWOPER)
