About the job
As a Senior Environmental Site Assessor, you will conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, subsurface investigations, and provide technical guidance to projects concerning recognized environmental conditions. Working as part of a global real estate solutions firm, you’ll be responsible for fieldwork, report writing, regulatory compliance, and project coordination to deliver actionable insights for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Review regulatory records and historical reports for environmental data
- Conduct property owner and stakeholder interviews
- Screen for hazardous materials and coordinate sampling
- Compile comprehensive assessment reports with technical exhibits
- Provide technical guidance to colleagues and coordinate project tasks
- Travel up to 50% and manage multiple project deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering, or related field (or PE/PG with equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local environmental requirements
- Preferred certifications (PE, PG, CIH, etc.)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
