Join a multidisciplinary environmental consulting team as an Environmental Monitoring Technician in Riverside, California. Your work will support infrastructure, mining, waste, and remediation projects, frequently involving on-site sample collection and equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect groundwater, stormwater, soil, and gas samples at various project sites
- Calibrate and maintain field equipment
- Prepare samples and shipment documentation
- Inspect and document conditions at landfills, mine sites, and public works
- Interact with clients and coordinate logistics with labs
Qualifications
- Eligible for work in the United States; valid driver's license with insurable record
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and MSHA training preferred
- Physical ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of environmental sampling techniques is a plus
- Undergraduate study in science or environmental fields preferred
