EHS Specialist

About the job

This role involves leading and mentoring others to promote health, safety, and environmental excellence across manufacturing operations. The EHS Specialist will drive compliance with safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement process improvements while fostering a culture of safety at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach staff on safe work practices
• Lead compliance programs and risk assessments
• Develop and govern safety and environmental procedures
• Conduct industrial hygiene testing and maintain exposure records
• Support operational changes with safety impact assessments
• Deliver training and participate in incident investigations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing
• Strong communication, motivation, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and compliance
