This entry-level Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist role at Peraton in Clearfield, UT supports the US Air Force and other Department of Defense agencies in meeting environmental compliance requirements. You will contribute technical expertise regarding environmental regulations, site assessments, and software tools in support of federal mandates.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and implement environmental programs per governmental requirements.
• Monitor pollution prevention, compliance, and auditing efforts.
• Conduct studies and prepare environmental impact reports for construction and facility changes.
• Review and analyze documentation related to the Clean Water Act and Clean Air Act.
• Publish compliance strategies, respond to regulatory impacts, and interact with agencies.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites for onsite assistance and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (Environmental Engineering preferred).
• Knowledge of Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, and relevant compliance systems.
• Willingness to travel and ability to obtain security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Strong software and communication skills.
