Laboratory Coordinator

This nursing coordinator role is central to managing procedural rooms, staff schedules, and care delivery for cardiac catheterization, pain management, and interventional radiology. The position requires a collaborative and organized registered nurse who can coordinate procedures, resources, and patient care efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise between clinics, procedural teams, and providers to coordinate safe and timely care.
• Review orders, coordinate scheduling, verify staffing and supplies, and ensure all pre- and post-procedure requirements are met.
• Provide nursing care during procedures, including patient monitoring and medication administration.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care, supporting all documentation and billing protocols.
• Maintain accurate procedural records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and medication administration standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nevada required.
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory; CCRN/Cardiac-Vascular Nursing preferred.
• RCIS certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Two+ years’ experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology preferred.
