Key Responsibilities

• Authorize, direct, and monitor care for behavioral health and substance abuse services
• Conduct peer reviews with providers regarding outpatient psychological services
• Educate network practitioners on best practice care models
• Collaborate with medical directors on clinical authorizations
• Respond to complaints and issues related to psychological service reviews
• Facilitate clinical rounds and document compliance

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Licensed Psychologist in New York required
• Minimum two years’ behavioral health experience
• Familiarity with evidence-based assessments and psychological testing
