This In-Person Counselor Supervisor position focuses on leading a team of counselors (navigators) in Waukegan, Illinois. Responsibilities include direct staff supervision, regulatory compliance, performance evaluation, and supporting customers through Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace eligibility processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and supervise counselor staff, including license/certification oversight
• Develop, implement, and improve workflow and programmatic procedures
• Evaluate and address customer service metrics
• Assist clients with eligibility and enrollment processes
• Oversee compliance with changing federal and state regulations
• Maintain documentation and generate performance reports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum four years' office experience (preferably healthcare)
• Three years' supervisory experience
• ACA Navigator license (required within six months)
• Proficiency with office and reporting software (Word, Excel)
