As a surgical technologist, you will play a crucial role in the operating room by facilitating sterile procedures and supporting surgeons and the surgical team. The role involves preparing the operating environment, handling specialized instruments and supplies, and maintaining patient safety and surgical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain strict aseptic technique and a sterile field
• Prepare all surgical instruments and supplies
• Assist surgeons directly during procedures
• Respond to emergency situations during surgery
• Operate and maintain surgical equipment
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduation from an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
• Current or pending CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) within 90 days of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification
