Provide essential services as a Certified Surgical Technologist, supporting surgical and endoscopy teams by preparing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting surgeons during procedures. This full-time weekday position occasionally requires on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile environment pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Assist with patient positioning, gowning, gloving, and draping
- Count instruments and supplies per protocol
- Support endoscopy and surgical procedures by passing instruments and maintaining clear communication
- Ensure proper documentation and adhere to sterilization protocols
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program
- Certification within six months of hire
- BLS required; hospital experience preferred
- Ability to multitask, communicate effectively, and work in a fast-paced setting
