Aspire Living & Learning is a non-profit organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of children and adults with autism and other disabilities. The Behavior Therapist position is based at an Approved Private Special Education Program in Stamford, CT, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement educational and behavioral support programs under the supervision of Special Education Teachers and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, and Occupational/Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct support to students with social, behavioral, or academic needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field strongly preferred (required for minimum qualifications).
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience supporting children with disabilities.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
