About the job
Working as a Behavior Therapist in a private special education program, you will provide services to children with autism and other disabilities by implementing educational and behavioral programs. The role involves collaboration with teachers, behavior analysts, and related service providers to support individualized student needs and foster development in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement individualized education and behavioral plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, behavior analysts, and related service providers
- Support students' social, behavioral, and academic development
- Collect and document data on student progress
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience working with children with disabilities
- Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
