About the job
Make a significant impact as a school-based physical therapist, supporting students with disabilities to thrive in their educational environment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to design and implement individualized interventions and accommodations in the school setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and document students' gross motor and functional skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for IEPs
- Provide services across different school environments
- Collaborate with school staff and contribute to IEP meetings
- Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications as needed
- Maintain compliance with educational and legal standards
Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- State license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- FSBPT certification (as applicable)
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Understanding of IDEA requirements
