About the job
Contribute to youth development in Bellevue by creating engaging and safe environments for children before school. As a Youth Development Professional, your main focus is to foster growth, build relationships, and guide young members through various educational and recreational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement diverse youth-focused club activities
- Monitor member safety and ensure a positive space
- Build meaningful connections with children and families
- Communicate clearly with parents and peers
- Serve as a role model and motivate youth engagement
Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with high school diploma (some college preferred)
- Experience working with youth and in team settings
- Effective oral and written communication
- National background clearance required
Preferred Experience
- Previous involvement with Boys & Girls Clubs or similar organizations
- Bilingual skills in Spanish or Mandarin
