Behavioral Health Associates assist nursing staff in addressing clients' psychological, developmental, and physical needs as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. The position involves direct patient care activities, recording client information, monitoring safety, and assisting with client health measurements. Night shift coverage is required in Cahokia, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities

• Support clients with daily care and safety
• Document care and observations accurately
• Communicate client status to nursing staff

• Participate in staff training and meetings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• One year of experience in healthcare or related setting preferred
• Certified Nurse Assistant required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of hire

Physical Demands

• Lifting and assisting clients up to 25 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, and walking
• Use of personal protective equipment as necessary
