About the job
As the EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Manager at a leading global flow control company, you'll foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility at the Rochester, NY facility. You'll lead HSE policy implementation and champion continual improvement in workplace health, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of HSE management systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Provide training, mentorship, and guidance on safety practices and culture.
- Oversee audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
- Champion environmental initiatives and hazard management.
- Report on safety KPIs and collaborate with site and regional leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years hands-on HSE experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
- Bachelor’s degree in safety or related field preferred.
- Experience with root cause analysis, training, and compliance.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
