About the job
Assist patients in achieving rehabilitation goals as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy in compliance with industry standards and organizational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT
- Accurate and timely charting and use of therapy software
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a safe working environment
- Participate in community health projects and department goals
- Foster professional relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
Qualifications & Requirements
- NBCOT certification upon hire
- Graduate of an accredited Associate's program in occupational therapy
- State registration/licensure required; must remain in good standing
- One year of experience in post-acute care or similar setting preferred
- CPR certification upon hire or during orientation
