The Behavioral Health Associate (School-Based Clinician) provides counseling and psychosocial evaluations for students and their families within a school-based clinic. The position emphasizes direct clinical care, developing treatment plans, and collaborating within interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including running therapy groups per week.

  • Assess immediate safety concerns and provide crisis interventions.
  • Develop and document individualized care plans in compliance with professional standards.

Qualifications
  • State of CT licensure as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or licensed clinical psychologist (associate licensure considered with path to full licensure).
  • Two years of outpatient experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with children, families, and diverse teams.
  • Bilingual skills advantageous.
Work Structure
  • Full-time salaried position following a school-based calendar (195 days/year).
  • Location: John F. Kennedy Middle School, Enfield, Connecticut.
